On April 26, the title was revealed by Abrams Books to be Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Getaway. The cover of the book will be revealed on April 27th, 2017 in front of fans at Carnegie Hall in New York [1][2]

It is possible this is not true, however Jeff Kinney announced on April 26th, 2017 that he will be doing a 10th anniversary event on April 27th, 2017 which will include a reveal of the books title, cover and color just like he has done the previous 2 years for the latest book in the series. The event will be livestreamed on the official Diary of a Wimpy YouTube channel. The event will be held at Carnegie Hall.
