Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck

Template:InfoboxDiary of a Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck will be the eighth book in the Wimpy Kid series,following The Third Wheel.After finishing Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel, Jeff Kinney announced he is working on an eighth book. On March 25, 2013, Jeff Kinney released a teaser photo of the book, which depicted Greg holding an umbrella with magic eight balls raining. It's was 1th rumoured that it will be called "Life Stress". Many fans believe it will be the last book in Wimpy Kid series, but still this is unconfirmed. The summary still remains unknown, but the website says that Greg will be unlucky. In the previous Diary of a Wimpy Kid book teasers, there is at least one object colored and the colour its colored in also turned out to be the color of the book, so the eighth book has chances of being black or white since but on 8/8/13 the color green will be on the book. The second teaser confirmed it will be released in November 2013 and the third confirmed it will be released on November 5, 2013.On 8 August,2013,It was revealed its called Hard Luck.

Greg Heffley's on a losing streak. His best friend, Rowley Jefferson, has ditched him, and finding new friends in middle school is proving to be a tough task. To change his fortunes, Greg decides to take a leap of faith and turn his decisions over to chance. • There were rumours going that this book will be called Life Stress, but this is unconfirmed as Jeff Kinney hasn't announced it, nor on his websites or twitter account. There also another rumour it will be called "Flipped Out" but that is also unconfirmed.
• There was another realastic fake cover called "School Dilemma" made by a youtube user.
• There are rumours going that this will be the last book, however this is unconfirmed as Jeff Kinney didn't announce that yet.
• The Third Wheel's characters page said "More Diary of a Wimpy Kid Coming soon" hinting there will be Diary of a Wimpy Kid 8.
• It will probably cover March to June, and could feature his exams. 
• If Rowley and Abigail actually turn to be couples, then its most likely they will be dating through the book.
• On 25 March 2013, Jeff Kinney revealed the book's teaser, which had Greg with an umbrella with Magic 8 balls raining.
• According to the 3rd teaser photo, it will come on the 5th of November 2013.

• On 18 July, 2013 it was announced the cover would come out on the 8th of August 2013.
