On 28 April 2016, the name, color, and cover of Double Down were revealed at the third annual Wimpy Kid Virtually Live event.
The new book will release on November 1st, 2016, according to various sites. The official Wimpy Kid site has stated this as well. The news page about Double Down can be read here [1][2]
An official teaser image for the new book was released on the Wimpy Kid official website on March 10th, 2016. The book's cover was revealed on April 28th during a live broadcast. It is called Double Down and is the color red-orange to symbolize the first book's cover. The book will be released on November 1st, 2016. [1][2]
