Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw (film) is a 2012 upcoming film. It will probably be called dog days. It was not completely sure the movie would be made until Zachary Gordon (Greg), said they would start filming in August 2011. The movie will be released in March or April 2012. The movie might also be rated "PG". It will mostly star, Zachary Gordon, and Steve Zahn. The film will wrap up Greg's 7th grade. The film is also set to be combined with Dog Days.
Plot
The first part is about Greg finishing the seventh grade. His dad might be sending him to military school. In the second part, Greg has a really bad summer. This is not certain to happen.

Production
In an interview, Devon Bostick said that The Last Straw could be in the works and is "90% sure it will happen" depending on the success of Rodrick Rules.[4] The movie is currently filming because, there is one photo that Gordon posted on his Facebook page showing, Himself (Gordon), Capron, List and MacNeil, together on set.
