Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw is a 2012 upcoming film. It was not 100% sure the movie would be made until Zachary Gordon (Greg), said they would start filming in August 2011. The movie will be released in March or April 2012. The movie might also be rated "PG". It will mostly star, Zachary Gordon, and Steve Zahn. The film will wrap up Greg's 7th grade.

Production
In an interview, Devon Bostick said that The Last Straw could be in the works and is "90% sure it will happen" depending on the success of Rodrick Rules.[4] The movie is currently in the works.[5] Zachary Gordon said on his Facebook page that The Last Straw will begin filming in August (like the previous two films), and will possibly be released in March or April 2012. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw will also film in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
