Summary

It's about a year in Greg Heffley’s life. Greg is a skinny middle school student who loves drinking hot chocolate in the morning. This book takes place in his hometown. The main characters are Greg, Greg’s brother (Rodrick), her mom, and her dad. The book has a vast amount of cartoons and is printed in a handwritten-style font.

Film Adaption

In 2010, the book was adapted into an animated/live action feature film. It was directed by Thor Freudenthal and was rated PG.
