Demon Dawgs is a team from against whom Red Socks got their first ever lost in the Rec League season in the play-offs, ending their chance for an undefated season.

Their name appeared in the newspaper, when the midfielder James Bryon kicked a half field goal, this got Red Socks angry at Greg because he was the goal-keeper and at that time he was playing with some flowers and did not block the goal, and they pelted him with orange peels.
