Template:InfoCharacter Darren Walsh (born July 1, 1997) was the creator of the Cheese Touch. He was only mentioned in the first book and has not been seen or heard of since.

He poked a piece of cheese which started it. In the book, he started the Cheese Touch to creep people out. In the movie, it was said when he touched a piece of cheese on the basketball court, everyone runs away from him, leaving him as crying and dropping to his knees, until he touches a girl who now has it. Those are the first moments of apocalyse on account of the cheese touch. Chirag Gupta says it was "friend turning on friend, brother on sister".
