Template:InfoCharacter Darren Walsh was the creator of the Cheese Touch. He was only mentioned in the first book and has not been seen or heard of since.
He poked a piece of cheese which started it. In the book, he started the Cheese Touch to creep people out. In the movie it was said when he touched a piece of cheese on the basketball court, everyone runs away from him, leaving him as crying and dropping to his knees, until he touches a girl who now has it. Those are the first moments of apocalyse on account of the cheese touch. Chirag Gupta says it was" friend turning on friend, brother on sister."
