Template:InfoCharacterDarlene is a widow and Grandpa's girlfriend in Hard Luck. She is the book counterpart of Maurlene from the online version as they both date Grandpa and comment on Rodrick when he opens the door for them.

She was mentioned in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School by Greg that she broke up with Grandpa.
