Corny's Family-Style Restaurant

Corny's Family-Style Restaurant, or simply just called Corny's for short,is a family restaurant the Heffley family goes to during family time. Jefferson family also comes here as mentioned by Rowley.

Rule

They have a rule that you're not allowed to wear a tie, when the Heffleys went there for the first time, Frank got his tie cut off and Rowley also once got his tie cut off when he went there for dinner with Greg and Abigail. After that, the staff places their ties in the Wall of Shame

Sections

At Corny's there are two sections, the Children's Alley and the Adult's Alley. Greg's family always goes to the Children's Alley because they have Manny around. Greg dislikes it because there are crumpled up napkins and half-eaten food on the tables and floor,because no one bothers to clean the place after a family leaves, and the seats are near the bathrooms and the bathroom doors keep swinging open.

Play Area

The resturant has a play area with a huge ball-pit and plastic tubes with slides connected. Once Manny got stuck in the plastic tubes and was too scared to come out, so Greg had to rescue him as he was the only person in the family to fit inside the tubes. It was difficult for him to find his way there, and when he got inside, a kid vomited and all the other kids ran away. The plastic tubes smelled of dirty socks, so much that Greg had to throw out his favorite pair of jeans.

Service

According to Greg they have a "terrible" service as they get orders wrong many times,so he takes the buffet.The buffet however appears to have all the metal trays' food mixed together.They also have a ice-cream dispenser,but some kids mess with it by squirting ice-cream directly into their mouth or squirt out so much that it falls out.

Valentine's Day Dance

During the Valentine's Day Dance, since Abigail Brown, Rowley, and Greg didn't have any little kids with them, they went to the Adult's Alley. But Greg sat near a window showing the Children's Alley. Rowley and Abigail each ordered two appetizers which were the same and a t-bone steak. Rowley had free birthday cake because Greg made up a fib that its his birthday and Abigail still orders a triple-layer chocolate cheesecake. The bill later comes and leaves a humungous sum. Greg used all his money's wallet and pulled out 5 dollars from his wet socks but they didn't acccept it, so Greg called Robert Jefferson to cluck him five dollars. When Greg came back, though, Rowley and Abigail were talking. Then they all went into the car to school, where the dance was taking place.

Trivia

The place is shown quite crazy as kids are shown throwing food items at each other and flinging their plates filled with food everywhere.
The general set ot of Corny's appears to be like McDonalds, while the Corny's Feed Yer Face buffet and Ice-Cream bar seem to come from Pizza Hut.
