Coach Malone is the gym teacher at Westmore Middle School in the first three Diary of a Wimpy Kid films. Coach Malone does not appear in any of the books, in which his counterpart is Mr. Underwood.

- Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (film): Coach Malone chases Greg and Rodrick after they made a prank on him.
- Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days (film): Coach Malone pretends not recognize Greg when he is talking on the phone with him.
