Choose Your Own Adventure is a book that is mentioned by Susan in The Long Haul. When Susan said that the road trip was a total disaster up this point, she is ready to admit it. She said it wasn't a good idea to do according to Family Frolic, and that if they switched things a little maybe they could turn the road trip around. She said that from then on they were go wherever the road took us and they would make decisions as a family. She also said that the trip could be like those from Choose Your Own Adventure Books. Greg liked those books because he said that every page will get to make a decision that changes the story. The problem is, Greg can't decide which choices that leads him to a happy ending. In fact, it seems like no matter what choice Greg choses it's always the wrong one.
