The Body Blankie was a wearable blanket Greg Heffley received for Christmas. It only appeared in Hard Luck when Greg mentioned finding it in his mom's closet.
History
Before the events of Hard Luck, Greg Heffley received the Body Blankie for Christmas. He didn't want to wear it since he saw it advertised on TV, but he immediately changed his mind when he put it on, describing it like he was in bed. Rodrick also received one, and he wouldn't even take his off so Susan could wash it. However, both Greg and Rodrick lost their Body Blankies after they kept sleeping during the middle of the day, like they did in church. It then appears in school when Greg is trying to catch up on a test and Vice Principal Roy shows Greg his grades are slipping.
