Bitter Apple Spray is a spray that people use to spray on their furniture so dogs will not chew on it. The taste is awful, although Manny loves it. Greg says his family used to use it when they had Sweetie. This was mentioned in Diary of a Wimpy Kid:Cabin Fever.
