Template:Infobox Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Meltdown, is the upcoming 13th book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. It will release on October 30th, 2018. The cover of the book is purple with an icy font that says "The Meltdown." It has a picture of Greg in a snowman with the sun in the background melting the snow.

It was confirmed that a 13th book would be made by Jeff Kinney via his Twitter account in a response to a fan question. [1] It was later officialy announced on the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Website and with an article by Publishers Weekly being shared by Jeff Kinney on his Twitter account. [2]
