Wacky Dawg was a comic strip created by Bryan Little, the former cartoonist for the school newspaper. According to Greg, the comic was once pretty funny, but the quality deteriorated when Bryan started to use the comic for personal business. Greg believes that this is why the strip was cancelled. Wacky Dawg appears in Diary of a Wimpy Kid and its online version.
Wacky Dawg posters appear around the school in the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie. Images of these posters are shown in The Wimpy Kid Movie Diary.
