Thor Freudenthal was born between 1972 and 1973 in West Germany. He is a German-born film director who directed the the first film, but he was later replaced by David Bowers for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th films. Other films he directed are Hotel for Dogs and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.
