Mr. Peppers is an unseen character who is mentioned in Dog Days. After Greg started getting his haircuts done at Bombshells Beauty Salon (where Greg's mother and maternal grandmother get their haircuts), he was being told a story about Mr. Peppers, who, according to the woman who was cutting Greg's hair at the time, had recently married a woman who's at least twenty years younger than him. Greg later wanted his hair to grow back quickly so he could go back and hear the rest of the story.
