Template:Character infoboxMelissa was one of Rodrick Heffley's friends who went to his party. She stood in the kitchen while Rodrick told her about his band, hoping to intrigue her but instead, he was disturbing her. Rowley Jefferson shouted out to Greg Heffley that he though Rodrick had a crush on Melissa. Melissa went to find her friend, Rachel Lewis. Later, Melissa and Rachel can be seen among the girls who were getting bored of the party. While Rodrick and his friend argued over which one of them was going to have to dance with the girls to stop them from getting bored, Rowley started a conga line and Melissa joined in.
