Leland is Rowley's next door neighbor who appears in Rodrick Rules and replaced Heather Hills as Rowley’s babysitter, which shocked Greg. When he first saw this, he thought of turning away, but Rowley invited him inside and they played Magick and Monsters. Soon Greg started to think it was a fun game and started going everyday to Leland's house with Rowley to play the game. However Rodrick says that Leland is the biggest nerd in Crossland High School, but Greg thought Rodrick is lying.
