Kelson Garrity is a boy who began attending Greg Heffley's school somewhatime before the events of Wrecking Ball. He appears when Greg was discussing the pros and cons of moving to a new place.
When he initially arrived, many of the girls there tried asking him out. However, his popularity decreased after a few weeks later after everyone noticed he was kind of a weirdo, causing him to fall out of favor. He became Greg's lab partner after Greg told Becky Anton that he liked her, leading her to go to the teacher so she could switch.
