Fregley's mother

She briefly appears in the first book when Greg meets her after coming over to Fregley's house for a sleepover, intending to make Rowley jealous. In the movie it is mentioned that she makes unusual clothing for Fregley out of old clothes. For example, a shirt made out of old pajamas.

On Wimpy Boardwalk, she appears in the Fun House. After Rowley goes down the slide, he knocks away some balls in the ball pit, uncovering Fregley. Fregley's mother thanks you and gives you Fregley's leftover fish sticks.

Trivia

• Although she appears briefly in the Mother & Son Sweetheart Dance, she originally had a larger role in the film, where Fregley introduced Greg to her where she explains that he never had friends before and where it shows that she works as a seamstress. The scenes were cut from the film but were included in the film's deleted scenes.
